Dr. Jennifer Curtiss

While growing up in rural Southern Oregon, Dr. Curtiss developed a strong connection to the land, exploring the outdoors and the healing powers of nature. The mountains led  her to begin her study of health and wellness at the University of Montana where she received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition, in 1999. Her love of nature and the passion and care for others inspired her to pursue her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Curtiss became a licensed Naturopathic Physician, in the state of Oregon in 2005 from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. At NUNM she also completed her doctoral research thesis in fertility.  She was fortunate to continue her medical training through a 3-year Functional Medicine Mentorship that continued her passion for neuroendocrine health.

Her mission is to help grow healthy families and communities. She specializes in preconception health and fertility support for both men and women.  During her ongoing training as a clinician she discovered that MTHFR and other Genetic Polymorphisms are often missing factors in an individual or couple’s ability to achieve optimal health and pregnancy. She enjoys the rewarding practice and positive outcomes of optimizing genetic health for ongoing wellness particularly in the areas of mental health, chronic disease, and fertility.

Dr. Curtiss is also a primary-care physician who is rewarded by the healing relationships she has shared with families of up to 3 generations. She practices as a medical detective to identify the underlying cause of a person’s illness. Her treatments may include nutritional therapy using diet and supplements, physical medicine, intramuscular nutrient therapy, botanicals, homeopathy, energetic medicine, and counseling. Dr. Curtiss continues to advance her training in the areas of epigenetics, endocrinology, mental health, and fertility.  However, most of all she enjoys learning from her patients and her own children who teach her lessons on life every day.

Dr. Kelsey Stang

Dr. Stang's mission is to inspire and guide others on their path to optimized health, wellness and a life that allows them to thrive. While finishing her undergraduate degree in US History at The University of California, San Diego, Dr. Stang enrolled in a 200 hour yoga teacher training program that inspired her passion to ignite health and wellness in others.  Dr. Stang knew she wanted to add an additional layer to her future which led her to discover Naturopathic Medicine. She immediately aligned with the belief that each person’s body is immensely intelligent and that healthcare should be centered on eliminating obstacles to health; promoting wellness. Dr. Stang has dedicated her life to guiding others along that journey.

Dr. Stang went on to obtain a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from The National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) and is a licensed Naturopathic Physician. One of Dr. Stang's biggest passions is supporting women and families through healthy conception, pregnancies and postpartum care. She believes that the health of both parents well before conception contributes greatly to the health of the entire family as well as future generations. Dr. Stang is a certified practitioner of The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®, a style of bodywork focused on promoting health within digestive, reproductive and urinary systems. Additionally, she has been studying under Dr. Jennifer Curtiss since 2014 and has completed advanced trainings in methylation defects and nutrigenomics.

Dr. Stang continues to teach yoga here in Portland. She and her husband have two young children who are continually inspiring and teaching them the most valuable lessons of their lives, thus far.
