Studying under Dr. Martin Milner ND, Dr. Curtiss focused on cardiovascular health and environmental medicine. She completed a residency with her mentor Dr. David Greenspan ND, who taught her the art of functional medicine: supporting the body’s own systems to reach a healthy balance in the body. She performs diagnostic studies to identify causes of illness, which often included environmental toxins such as heavymetals, mold, solvents, and harmful foods. Treatment is directed at removing the causes of one’s illness. A patient’s course of care may include nutritional therapy using diet and supplements, intramuscular and intravenous therapy, the use of botanical medicine, homeopathy, energetic medicine, and counseling. Dr. Curtiss specializes in pediatric and family health, hormone balance, fertility, environmental medicine and nutritional and wellness support for cancer patients.
Motivated by her passion for community wellness, Dr. Curtiss enjoys educating people on strategies for making improvements in their health and lifestyle. With the ultimate goal of preventing illness, she devotes much of her practice to teaching patients techniques on improving their sleep, energy, stress responses, nutrition, and exercise.
